Vision and mission for the seminar

Our first step towards the CEN vision is to hold a social innovation seminar on 17th Mar 2012. The theme is Disruptive Innovation at the Base of the Pyramid. Through the seminar we would set up a platform for social entrepreneurs, investors, NGOs and students to discuss ways to develop innovative and sustainable business models for social benefit. There would be two panel discussions on the issue of Impact of Social Network, and Sustainability of Social Enterprise respectively.

Through the Seminar, we wish to create a platform for students to interact with social entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and representatives from NGOs to collaboratively initiate innovative and sustainable models for social development.
By participating in the Seminar, audience could get first-hand ideas of great minds from all fields of society. Through the consideration of how to develop a sustainable model for society, audience would strengthen their awareness of civic responsibility, and the capability of innovative thinking at the same time.
