
HKUST Connect
HKUST Connect is a community engagement initiative that aims to build on the University's efforts in raising civic awareness and developing sustainable partnerships with the wider community to deepen student learning and promote a benevolent world.
Students will connect their service with their academic experiences and explore their unique roles in the community. Faculty and staff will facilitate these activities to enhance the quality of student learning as well as strengthen their own commitment to education with a public purpose. The University will collaborate with community organizations, education institutions and corporations to organize meaningful projects that assist, inspire and build up their recipients.

SOW Asia
SOW Asia aims to investing in humanity and to foster social impact, innovation and sustainability.
SOW Asia Foundation is part of a pioneering movement making reasoned long-term investments in social businesses to affect positive social change.
Working with today’s visionary entrepreneurs, SOW Asia provides resources and effective business strategies to help alleviate poverty, and tackle some of the world’s most profound challenges in the areas of healthcare, education and the environment.
SOW Asia seeks to work collaboratively with different kinds of donors, individuals and supports organizations to elicit the most promising solutions that can make a difference.

Village People Project
Our mission is to improve the personal and community well-being of women and children in rural China by constructing well-designed, functional, and sustainable social and sanitary facilities, namely, bathhouses, that serve the needs of the community and have defined and measurable benefits. Initially VPP is a primary sponsor, owner and developer. Later on, in partnership with local social entrepreneurs, VPP acts as facilitator and resource platform.
VPP is registered in Hong Kong as a charity, and through the
Baoji company Malidoulai owns the bathhouses which are
operated by local entrepreneurs in accordance with their management contracts with specific goals. VVP has established solid and credible relationships with the local government and the local women's federation.

Inter Culture Education
ICE (Inter Cultural Education) is an award-winning educational social enterprise recruiting people with culturally diverse backgrounds to help schools create a global learning environment.
ICE educates through engaging and interactive methods with the strong belief that nurturing a global-mindset requires two-way communication and a real dialogue with international guests.
Workshops involve simulations, team work, performances, group challenges, competitions, games, hands-on activities and cultural sharing which make teaching come alive.
Taking part in ICE’s programme is just the first chapter; sustainable impact is crucial to a future community of socially responsible leaders. ICE facilitates students to engage in local projects, encouraging them to apply the knowledge, skills and change-making attitude they have attained in the workshop. ICE believes every student can make a positive change to society

YES Network
Young Entrepreneurs for Society Network (YES Network) is a joint-university platform aiming at nurturing long term social enterprise projects and young social entrepreneurs. YES Network links up inspired students with social enterprise resources and experts, and is an open community for all students to join.
YES Network aims to empower young change-makers to be social entrepreneurs and create positive impact to the society through:
1. Create a platform which matches resources among societal actors such as social enterprises, NGOs, business, government, academic communities and students to create and upscale social change.
2. Support young social entrepreneurs and nurture long term SE projects, by providing training, network and funding resources needed to launch and upscale their social enterprise project.
3. Provide information regarding the latest developments of SE field in Hong Kong and around the globe.
4. Create social enterprise awareness to gather students from diverse background to join the movement and carrying out social innovation in the real world.

New Life
New Life wishes to strive to promote mental wellness for people in recovery of mental illness and for their families and the general public with the ultimate goal of equal opportunities, social inclusion, acceptance and full participation for all in the community.
New Life aims to establish and operate hostels, sheltered workshops, farms, clubs and various projects on a non-profit making basis in which people in recovery of mental illness and the mentally retarded may obtain free of charge or on moderate terms temporary residential facilities, vocational training, sheltered employment, recreation and activities calculated directly or indirectly towards their rehabilitation and betterment.
